Alongside creating cutting-edge technology, we are campaigning for stricter water quality testing regulations, because the current standards simply aren’t protecting public health.

Our journey began in the medical labs of the University of Plymouth, UK. After decades of research on sepsis, our founder, Prof. Simon Jackson, discovered the potential of endotoxin detection technology to quickly assess water quality. With sewage pollution, agricultural run-off, and antibiotic resistance increasing, there was a clear need for a faster way of testing water quality.

Simon founded Molendotech in 2018, and our team worked tirelessly to develop the technology that powers Bactiquick. For several years now, our water testing kits have been used
in industrial settings, including by water companies.

Now, we’re putting instant water testing directly into the hands of the public.
